Solis Medical Laboratory (SML) is an independent medical laboratory that offers clinical laboratory testing. Established in 1986, and currently celebrating its Twenty-Fourth Anniversary, SML is accredited through the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1967 & 1988 (CLIA) under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (formerly Health Care Financing Administration) and the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. SML actively participates quarterly in the American Proficiency Institute’s proficiency testing programs to meet accreditation standards and quality assurance as required by CLIA and recognized by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
General testing services include various chemical, hematology and therapeutic test profiles, microbiology cultures, urine drug screens, routine urine analysis and HIV screens.
